Manny Rodríguez is an up and coming pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. After a couple of Mexican League seasons as a teenager, the Cubs scooped him up in 2016 as a free agent. He spent all of 2017-2019 in A ball - three whole seasons moving around from Eugene to South Bend to Myrtle Beach. 2020 was the lost year. He started 2021 in AA, and pitched well, then went to Iowa and pitched in 7 games with 8 baserunners, and 0 earned runs. Then what do you know, he's in the show. And appearing on Pitching Ninja!

Way to hang tough throughout your minor league career. Three years in A-ball is rough, and followed up with a lost year is also a challenge. But you hung tough. This year you accelerated through the upper minors. Your nasty pitches have been noteworthy, and I'm glad you are getting recognized!
